How to clean windows with vinegar

If you’re tired of finding veins in the window immediately after they are cleaned with a cleaner, better do it with vinegar. Unlike most window cleaning solutions, vinegar leaves the windows shiny and streak. Follow these steps to remove dirt and grime from the interior and exterior windows with positive results.

Some things you might need

  • Distilled white vinegar
  • A bucket
  • Sponge
  • A brush bristles soft
  • A razor blade
  • One Squeegee

Instructions

  1. Fill a bucket with warm water. Add 1 cup white distilled vinegar for every gallon of water.
  2. Work from the top down. With a sponge, the first solution applied on top of the window and continues toward the bottom thereof.
  3. Gently rub the sticky areas with brush bristles soft. Use a razor blade to remove stubborn dirt or adhesive tape transparent.
  4. Remove the solution of vinegar and water with a squeegee for greater brightness.

Tips and Warnings

  • If chipped or have small holes in your windows, use a bit of clear nail polish to seal.
  • Do not combine products with chlorine bleach with vinegar. Beware razors.
