Instructions
- Disconnect the washer Kenmore 70 Series grasping the plug firmly and pulling it back from the wall.
- Remove the caps on the ends of the machine by hand and use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on each side of the top panel of the washer.
- Pull forward the top of the console Kenmore 70 Series washer and lift to recline back. Locate the three wires connector moves down on top of the console and unplug.
- Locate the spring clips that hold the back panel to the top panel in each hand side of the machine and use a flathead screwdriver to pry up and release.
- Lift the cover of the washer base to expose the lid switch, and replace it with new. Reassemble your Kenmore 70 Series washing machine, reversing the steps you took to remove. Connect the machine to the power outlet.
